Running race (Road Runners) 1:16:11 [5] 14.8 km (5:09 / km) +18m 5:07 / km
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 17 green

Same run as last Saturday (although distance is longer?): from home down to the beach and then did the long course at Roadies. Warmer today and I was a little bit quicker which was pleasing. Last long run before the half next weekend. Numbers down at Roadies due to a bus load off to City to Surf!

Afternoon Willan's Hill run, last (hills) before the half next weekend. Not long but lots of climb and a very steep downhill towards the end. 7th km slow as I managed to trip over a small fence!

Afternoon run from home down to the river and return. Warmish and worked up quite a sweat! River is on the way back down.

Orienteering race (Interclub #7) 49:24 [5] *** 6.38 km (7:44 / km) +197m 6:42 / km
shoes: Inov8 Trailroc 255

At Pomingalarna for the 2nd last Interclub. Legs very heavy going uphill to #1 (doms from yesterday!) but found a bit more speed after that. Generally good after that apart from 2 silly errors: misread map detail at 3 and stopped short of the flag, then ran wrong bearing out of 8, managing to perfectly match 2 similar gully systems along the way - I was in the wrong one! Probably lost 3-4 minutes combined which is frustrating as I should know this map better. 2 and a bit minutes behind Briohny and she had already run 22km earlier in the morning!
