Club training camp at Chlitern. Fox and hound exercise followed by short control picking course, both on Cyanide Dam map. A bit rusty in the spur gully at times. Very hot also!

Note

Couple of rest days after visit to the Doc. Recommended I take it easy for a bit. Means I have changed plans for Orange next weekend and will now do the 10km rather than the Half.

Morning run along the Yarra from hotel in Melbourne and then back. Nice and cool but still humid. Amazing number of people running, rowing and especially cycling (mostly commuting). Felt pretty good most of the way but still doubting my capacity to run a half in less than 2 weeks! Disappointed there were no drinking fountains or taps beyond Hoddle Street bridge as I hadn't brought my water bottle with me.
