Training Log Archive: Golfer

Morning run with Deb at Gosling Creek reservoir in Orange. Out and back on paths around the reservoir which is now a a public reserve. I then did a bit extra back towards Orange before Deb picked me up. Quite humid, expecially for Orange.

Social golf with 4 mates at the ExServices course in Orange. Day 1 of our 2 day social competition. I managed a handy 42 points that included 2 wipes on 9 and 10 but had a hot run from the 3rd to 8th: 3,4,4,3,4,3.

First Street event for the summer, at Lake Albert. Not too hot so was OK for running. Nice options on this map for some bush/park running in Rawlings Park and around the lakeside as well as the street bits. Poor route choice towards the end but otherwise OK and back about a minute under the 45min limit.

Morning run with Briohny from home, out the back gate, cemetery, bike track to just past the Railway Viaduct where we turned around and came back. Nice morning for a run, lots of talking about the weekend in Sydney and the Coldplay concert, when Ryder will start crawling, Trent's new job and telling Bri that Deb and I are not now going to Europe next year - too much other stuff happening so will defer until 2014.

Morning run with Deb on the ocean path between Coogee and Tamarama (well almost to Tamarama!) and back. Lots of stairs and up and down bits but great views of the Pacific. Ankle a bit tender but a little better I think. In Sydney with a group of friends to see Coldplay....awesome!!
