I was on grandson minding duties at Roadies today so I ran home after the others had finished. Started near Wagga City Golf club and ran through Silvalite reserve and then under the railway on Red Hill Rd. Along the southern edge of the railway past all the new houss in Glenfield (last time I ran here the houses were probably 150m away, now they go right to the railway). Out onto Fernleigh and Glenfield Rds then along Urana St to Baden Powell Dr and up onto Willans Hill. Moved onto the single track for the climb up the hill as the road has no verge. Down the fire trails on the eastern side of the hill and home via Mount St. Nice run in glorious conditions, hammy was a little tight on the climbs but otherwise good.

Afternoon ride from home out along Vincent Rd, through Rawlings Park, around the south end of the Lake and home via Plumpton and Kooringal Rds. Was getting dark (and cold!) by the time I got home but nice to get out after 2 days of meetings. Hammy OK after not too much running this week. Will see how it goes with a couple of runs planned over the long weekend.

20 minute warm up run on Tatton Hill with Briohny then we did the hill intervals again. I felt a bit better this week after a couple of days rest but Briohny had a bit of trouble with cramping in her leg. 5 minute run back to Briohny's place as a warm down.

2nd Interclub at Burngoogee. Average run today with a couple of biggish (timewise) errors. Started OK although route to 1 was not as planned. Was very low on 3 and had to climb about 5 contours to get to the flag. 4 OK although poor route with track the quickest. 5 was good until inside the circle but just couldn't find the flag in a mass of boulders. When I did get it, it seemd to be too close to the edge of the outcrop? 6 and 7 OK but 8 was a mess and had to relocate off a track. Last 2 no problems. All up probably about 10 minutes of errors which wasn't good in an area I should know well as I mapped it! Distance a guessimate as I forgot my Garmin. Mapped distance was 6.5.
