Running 35:45 [3] 5.41 km (6:36 / km) +166m 5:43 / km

First run in 10 days and first aerobic exercise in a week. Run with Deb on the hilly July Roadies course off Holbrook Rd. Chest and breathing were quite a bit better but will take it slowly over the next week or so.

Cycling 1:18:33 [3] 19.05 km (4:07 / km) +43m 4:05 / km

Afternoon ride with Deb down to the river and out through Wiradjuri to the first stile. Came back via the wetlands as Deb hadn't been there before.

Annual pacemaker checkup this morning. Convinced the technician and doctor to raise my max HR from 140 to 145! Still a bit below what I'd like but will see if it makes a difference when I get back to running.

Note
(sick)

Well, my cold really took hold on Friday and we cancelled our trip to Newcastle:-(

Positive was being able to be on hand to organise the Interclub at Connorton today where we had a massive (for Wagga) turnout of almost 60 people (we count 30 as being a good showing!) Quite a few were local road runners who took the chance to try Orienteering for the first time. The technical granite terrain at Connorton can either intimidate or captivate and I think the latter held sway today and we look like picking up a few new members.

Putting out controls with Deb at Connorton (yes back here again already!) for Sunday's Interclub. Nice morning, not too cold and forest was looking good after a bit of rain. Downside is that I appear to have freshened up my cold so not sure how I'll go at the State Leagues in Newcastle over the weekend.

Running 29:00 [3] 5.5 km (5:16 / km)

Lap of the Lake whilst Deb did a 30 minute walk. Forgot the garmin so time is a guess.

Orienteering race (Club event) 46:39 [5] *** 6.06 km (7:42 / km) +167m 6:46 / km
spiked:13/15c shoes: Mizuno Wave Kazan trail

Club event at Pommy. Nice course from a couple of our less experienced setters. Not too much climb which can be an issue here. OK run but wide on 1 and 5 and very slow compared to the winner (Tomas Kracja!)
