Orienteering race 1:32:21 [4] 9.1 mi (10:09 / mi) +300m 9:12 / mi

Day 2 Fair Hills DVOA A meet, Red course

Much better day. Lost a minute or so on 4 and 10. Was able to run more than I expected, given how tired I felt yesterday, and was able to concentrate much more.

Nice weekend, fun map, and great bagged lunches.

Orienteering race 1:39:38 [4] 8.2 mi (12:09 / mi) +350m 10:44 / mi

Day 1 DVOA Fair Hills meet, Red course

Not a very good run. Lost time on 2, 18, and 21 due to navigation errors but overall it just seemed way to long and hilly for my first meet of the season and with relatively little running over the winter. Had to walk a lot and just felt completely brain dead during the second half.

After running on Sunday though and feeling much better, I'm thinking I also didn't eat properly on Saturday. I was out from about 12:30 to 2 and just had a snack before going. On Sunday, I had just had breakfast and felt much better even though it was longer and I was tired from Sat.

Orienteering race 23:11 [4] 2.7 mi (8:35 / mi) +60m 8:02 / mi

Sprint at the DVOA Fair Hills meet. Not bad given how tired I was from the red course. I thought I'd have to walk most of it but was able to jog most of it. Veered off some on 3, checked my bearing and then corrected.
