Hiking 7:30:00 [4] 17.0 km (26:28 / km) +1100m 20:00 / km
shoes: Salomon trail shoes
Wasdale Head to Great Langdale
Hoped to climb Scafell Pike, the highest in UK, but decided against it with 200 m to go because it was in thick clouds. Cut over to the path the travel company had recommended, encountering some tough trail conditions along the way.
Stayed at Old Dungeon Ghyll inn and ate at the attached Hikers bar. Nothing to do with a dungeon as far as we could tell.
