Note
(injured)

We decided to use the time to hunt for houses instead of going to the QOC sprints at College Park. I would have been slow and the hard/steep surfaces probably wouldn't have been good for either Peggy nor myself. I wanted to try to ride this day but we ran out of time. I was able to dig another garden which I'd been planning to do for several years. I made a quick but not necessarily great job of it since there were lots of tree roots. I had tried to kneel on the ground on my knees a few times but couldn't do it without getting some sharp pain in my left knee. I stopped trying. Making the garden was satisfying. Gardening is something I've missed doing a bit. In the evening I did some drafting from aerials of Ft. Hunt Park. It's where I first did Cross Country running as a team sport and Greg Lennon had given me some base map materials.

Bicycling (Commute) 1:12:00 [3] 12.6 mi (5:43 / mi)
(injured)

From Rosedale Ave. out and back, Maryland Ave. to Jones Bridge Rd. to Rockville Pike, to Cedar La. to the Elmhirst Trail, to the Rock Creek Trail, to Grosvenor Rd. to Tuckerman Rd. to the Bethesda Trolley Trail, to Executive Blvd. With people coming to see the house which is up for sale, we rode our bicycles to meet our running club at Pannera Bread. This was the first cycling I've done since hurting my knee. I felt some pangs here and there; some in my right knee which is not injured. We took it fairly easy though when towing Max in his trailer from a stand still and climbing some hills, I felt like I was doing work and causing some strain. We had a couple stops including the destination turn around point and a playground.
