Colorado 5-Day: Day 3. Starting out, I think everyone was tired after 6 races in 4 days, me included. This 7th race was a chance to salvage a streak of bad to not so good races. I'm glad I ended on a good note, even though I still made errors. I enjoy Round Mountain's mostly open terrain with moderate climb. The cummulative effect of the races made the moderate climb feel much more. I spiked everything through #12 though at #3, I got there, read the code and thought I'd made a mistake because I thought I was supposed to be looking for #2--the first control was streamered. I left it and came back. At #13, I pulled up short being partially distracted by an unmapped road. I think I had the 5th fastest time on Red with just foreigners ahead of me.
