Time estimated. This was traipsing, mostly through soft sand and breakwater rocks, to visit lighthouses in Provincetown with Nancy. Very little running per se
was involved, but it's still a lot of work when the surface is so soft. The Province Lands
area would make a pretty interesting place for orienteering, and if you held a relay based at the Visitor Center, the observation deck would provide great viewing for plenty of spectator controls. Plenty of parking, and in the off-season, lodging is pretty reasonable. Takes forever to get there, though. Unless you fly into Provincetown, in which case you could walk from the airport.
