Morning jog. Could have been worse.

Up to Ox Stones trig and back after Brickfest day 2. Warm up around Alex's round the block timetrial. The an effort on the way up into a headwind all the way. But the sun was shining and all was right with the world!

Over to Porter and up to Ringlinglow, back down Limb Valley. Feeling pretty good after a fun morning at Brickfest. Effort on the way up, easy on the way down. Today was the first day in ages that I have not run for either as long as I could fit in or had the energy for - it felt great to finish feeling good with some time to spare.

Cycling for the day. Had to bust a gut to make it to club training in time. Only just made it back up Eccy Road on the way home, cold, wet and tired.

Drills in the park at lunch. I like the way a few drills makes an easy jog feel as though it is a little bit worthwhile. Keeping it short as going to DP later. If I write it on here then I have to commit to it.

DP trail run over to Loxley Trig. Good group out so not much hanging around. Accidentally lost Nails due to headtorch malfunction, whoops! Very slippery sloppery, there is just so much water everywhere. Took a while to get moving, but felt better as the run went on with a couple of harder efforts up Spoon Lane and Lodge Lane. Good to visit some old haunts from the Hillborough days again.

HFW. God, my log has got boring. It's almost as bad as Nixon's. I had a look back at some of my early days of AP logging and there was loads of funny stuff to read in there. Admittedly, more people probably actually read it back then. But in the interests of keeping my future self amused, I am going to put more substance on here. You have been warned.

Swimming while Alex had a lesson. Managed about 1km, but lost count and it was a struggle!

Dusk and eventually dark run out to Blacka trig and back. Bleak sort of conditions and got a bit bonky towards the end, think I found the swimming tougher than I had thought.
