HFW Tankersley after a tiring day on the white course with Alex and helping at the SYO naughty numbers/free creche. Went for a very hilly ride via Stocksbridge, Midhopestones, TDF route, Spout Lane, Lodge Lane, Ringinglow. Legs pretty empty by the end.

Longest run yet! Stiff SI joint, but felt good from about an hour in and the pace picked up until I was moving well towards the end. Nice rolling route up to Graves and back on trails most of the way.

Work to school via a change of shoes and a short session around the playing fields. 12x120ish plus 2xa loop through the woods in 4.35, 4.28. SI was stiff until I started the short efforts. It took a couple to loosen off and from there on in it felt comfortable. Pain feels as though it is in the soft tissue, rather than the joint itself and somehow it just feels 'ok' to run through, unlike the actual injury of the past year-or-so, which seems to have eased of late. At least that's how it feels...time will tell I guess.

HFW, not so comfortable today and a little discomfort after too. DOMS from the session and I guess it was hard on my SI joint too. Hopefully in a productive way.

Edgehill Road session from school. First structured hill session for a while so kept it short and conservative. Ran 36, 65, 78; 33, 60, 73; 32, 58, 74. Not too bad considering and no discomfort during or after.

Five parks route IW. Took a while to get moving, but stiffness still very much localised to SI joint and not feeling too uncomfortable.
