Nice morning ride out to Owler Bar, round Ramsley, down to Curber, back via Grindleford and Fox House. Gorgeous morning with low-lying mist hanging in all the hollows and a spectacular sunrise over the moors. The temperature dropped by about 5 degrees every time I plunged into the mist, got quite chilly along the valley to Grindleford.

IW, gingerly as my bum was quite sore still. It seemed to ease off a bit after about 20 mins though, but various other aches and pains in the area to replace it. Hmmm.
Finally managed to drag myself out of bed for an early ride (helped by the beautiful morning). Out to Fox House, Hathersage, Ringlinglow, Lodge Moor. Broke myself on the climb up to Higger and had jelly legs for the rest of the ride.
Tried a bit of jogging to test the bum. It was sore (felt bruised) but bearable and (I think) a little better for this. Hoping that getting it working again will help it to settle now.
IW via Ringlinglow in heavy rain. Really needed that after a few days of virtual inactivity, felt like Lear raging against the storm. Took me a hot shower, bowl of porridge, coffee and a fan heater to warm up when I got to the office. HFW.
