Full Strines loop, riding hard all the way to fit it into the training window. Legs a bit tired from yesterday but not too bad. Didn't want to risk another running day as I have a couple of niggles (L arch and L hip flexor). Bit of a tricky balance keeping the training going around the big races at the moment, a functioning bike is a godsend.

Home to Langsett via Marjery Hill. Had to keep up a decent pace to get there in time for a veggie breakfast. Tougher than expected, mainly because of the 1.45 of uphill running from my door to the top of the hill. Nice route via Low Bradfield taking in lots of the top spectating spots for le tour. Bank View cafe painted in Polka dots ready for the big day, the excitement is building!

Track session17:00 [5] 4.0 km (4:15 / km)
Track in a vain attempt to inject some pace into the legs. 3x(400, 300, 200) off 100 'float'; 2 mins between sets. Less of a float than a sink by the end. Surprisingly hard to hold the pace as the reps got shorter. 70, 55, 36; 70, 56, 37; 72, 56, 36.

IW testing the legs. No issues and feeling pretty good. Less good is the sleep situation with our street being dug up and resurfaced this week between the hours of 7pm-7am. Not relaxing.

HFW after a mind-melting 2-day course in qualitative data analysis. Up to Coppice track, back down Rivelin. Legs could not wait to get moving.
