Totally knackered today, just no energy at all. Spent the whole day nesting - i.e. moving furniture and throwing stuff out, which did nothing for my levels of fatigue. Gum very sore in my usual warning spot, not a good sign.
Out to MGU and along to a zig-zag path up the side of the Sparrow Hills. Ran 5xreps in ~1.15 then jogged a bit and ran a fastish km along the embankment in 3.08. Very warm again and sweated buckets. Half way decent few days training after all.
Another Mosmeridian race after work, this time in Filevskii Park, which is a nice detailed bit of terrain with a steep slope down to the river. I decided to take it a bit easier today and orienteer well, which I managed with only a couple of hiccups when I didn't spot the (min) kites right away. Felt tired, but I think I enjoyed myself.
Back to the embankment for a tempo run. Aimed for 4km out at 3.45 and back at 3.30. Ran 3.45, 3.42, 3.45, 4.00 (no km marker so overshot), 3.47, 3.26, 3.30, 3.31. Depressingly slow, really, but at least I ground out the session, had to work hard on the last km into the wind.
