running 51:50 [3] 10.8 km (4:48 / km)

After nearly 3 weeks of being dry the weather reverted to stereotype and was cold and damp.

Thursday Jan 24, 2019 #

running 39:50 [3] 8.2 km (4:51 / km)
shoes: Kayano 25

Clockwise lap of Regents Park.
Big week of additional things at work with 3 social engagements. Tonight it was the Australia Day drinks at the HC. Very varied gathering. It was on tonight because a lot of people have other things on on Friday, and Saturday is on the weekend.

running 29:00 [3] 6.0 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

To and from exercise session.

Exercise session 40:00 [4]

November Project session. Decided to go back again, and was "rewarded" with another tough session.

Tuesday Jan 22, 2019 #

running 45:00 [3] 9.3 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Kayano 25

Better effort this morning, despite a late night. Headed along Piccadilly to Green Park. Lap of the park and then St James park then up Park Lane and back home via Oxford and Regent Sts.
Last night was the First Sea Lord's dinner. Pleasant evening, but very formal - dinner suit or full evening dress uniform. A lot of gold braid and epaulettes on display.

Monday Jan 21, 2019 #

running 41:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:08 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

A bit sluggish this morning. Legs were tired, and it was cold.

Sunday Jan 20, 2019 #

running 1:07:20 [3] 14.0 km (4:49 / km)
shoes: Kayano 25

Explored a new area this morning. Picked up the Thames embankment at Charring Cross and went west. Crossed the river at Albert bridge and back through Battersea park, around the power station and then along the southern embankment. A bit further than I originally intended, but a very pleasant run.
