Run Melbourne 10k. Had a sore throat yesterday, and woke this morning with blocked sinus, tight chest and no voice. Great condition for running. Anyway headed to the run Melbourne 10 with low expectations. Was on track for about 43 at half way, but then struggled to bring it home. Was really struggling for breath at the end and completely lost the voice. However probably a reasonable result considering interrupted preparation over the last 4 weeks, and the sinus issue.
