Connecticut River of boat launch near Mike's Maze. Tried out the new lighter weight kayak while J-J help sent up the Corn Maze O. Took me a bit to get used to the steering without the rudder, but eventually got it. Was very warm and I'm out of shape!

Sprint for Corn Maze O. Rather awful outing and I think I'd do better having the Classic first to help me get used to the map without so many people in the maze. Couldn't figure out the scale at all.

Classic at the Corn Maze O. Much better outing, except screwed up the out of order control number. Have to keep my thumb on the map at all times to figure out where I am.

Night-O at Corn Maze O. Couldn't figure out how to see the map through the readers on my glasses with my headlamp. Major fail. Wandered my way to the first control, tried to bail but ended up at another control on the opposite side of the map. Two controls and then went in. Argh!

NEOC, The Wanderings - 3 hour cat on foot. Took the title to heart and spent way too much time trying to keep to the more "wild" areas of the map and lost LOTS of time for it. Still enjoyed the walk around Arlington's Great Meadow and saw the swans. And definitely got some exercise, if not a lot of points.
