Orienteering 1:10:07 [3] 5.12 km (13:42 / km) +154m 11:54 / km

Lots cooler than Saturday, so everyone else could speed up and run in the open woods. I'm still nervous about the knee so still walking most of the course. Just a bit of jogging when the footing was very level (pavement or gravel). Still fairly happy with results, as I met my goal again. 16th out of 39 competitors. Nice way to end the spring O-season. May my knee to totally healed by the fall :-).

Walking on the Beach 56:30 [3] 4.2 km (13:27 / km)

Cedar Point Lighthouse from the Snack Bar in the County Park and back. From J-J's watch since I forgot mine in the car. Pretty tough going with lots of wind and rain, especially on the way back. Got quite wet from the hips down which took much of the day to dry. Cold and rainy day for this activity.

Very slow and tiring in the heat, but I was going slow enough to be very clean. So a good result for me and I'm pretty pleased. 7th out of 28 on Brown and second female just behind Lisa Carr. But they have to do a better job with the parking situation!
