sydney sprint at macquarie uni. did alright...but not in the best way. looking at my map on the way home i was getting annoyed at how many crap route choices i took. got a second i think...only about 90seconds behind Øystein Kvaal Østerbø who was there with Elise Egseth. Good fun race though.

ran from lachys house and tagged along with the cockies for their long run. pretty much loved everything about this run. so easy to do a long run like this when there are a heaps of people to run with, and the track of majura and ainslie were cool. most interesting conversation were both grants thinking i should do philosophy in canberra or something....or my=aybe it was just grant m that said that and grant b called me emo :S haha. should have gone for longer because i felt real good and i didnt know netball was called off.

half orienteering, half running. didnt have much time for a warm up so this is mostly collecting 3 controls.

camp champs at aracnicopia. there were a lot of spiders but ive experienced more before. haha. ran ok, but i was quite exhausted after about half way to 3 and felt quite slow unless i was on a track. probably because of the heat, you just could not escape the sun at all during the course. i magaed to have about a 4min win which i was a bit surprised about because i made a few mistakes. but one of the was because i didnt know there wasnt going to be a flag at the control site. ah well, happy with the result. but im not sure everyone else liked the area. i thought it was different and i enjoyed it.

bit more control placement and collecting. the terrain i got to run through to put out my controls was pretty amazing. loved it.

attackpoint/donut training at honeysuckle. not so happy with my compass work mid-leg.

3 orienteering intervals. ran well for the first one but the second and thrid (particularly 2nd) were so bad. pretty annoyed with how disgusting my compass work was when i thought i had improved that a lot.

relocation exercise with max. relocated pretty well. tried to trick him when i was leading but it was difficult.

compass exercise. dodgy on the first but corrected myself alright and got the rest pretty well. ran faster but not too fast.

swim session taken by roch at dickson pool. bit of a variety of things but im not sure if we quite made it to the 1k mark. just took a bit of a guess.

not such a fast time but alright considering it was very humid and on a wet grass track. finished about mid-field but closer to some others than i was expecting.

Canberra Twilight Event at ANU. Saw it wasnt actualy sprint distance so split it up in to a few intervals 'vsing' kas. Felt better than i did that morning i think.

Night O at Mt Majura West. Started well but lost my flow about 2/3 of the way through. Pretty happy with the technique though. Biggest miss was the last control where i went about 30m past it.
