Trail Running long 1:14:30 [3] 9.0 mi (8:17 / mi)
shoes: Grid Omni TR (Saucony)

Cool, humid, and foggy morning run. Tori dropped me off at Bog Meadow Rd, and I did a large loop, running home when done. This was the first run in a long time where I wasn't thinking about mapping, or doing a map recon. It was a good feeling. It was also the first time I've been in BRF since the winter's ice storm. Wow, there are whole swaths of the woods that are all but impassable from the abatis-like deadfall. Maybe we should do a practice where all thirty cadets come on-line at 100m intervals and go due N or S for two kilometers, marking where it is and is not runnable, so we could get an idea of what is still usable. Definitely makes us want to map to the South of Popolopen (toward Bull Pond).
