Back to logging, since Ross & Brendan busted me out about not being on AP. Shame on me...pretty busy with things, and I was finding the time to run & O, but not the time to log. Guess that's better than the alternative.
Todd B, an old friend and teammate, came along to race, and it was good to be with him for the first half. I lost all my Powergels (fell out of my pocket), and I was depressed for a control or two before deciding that I should just run fast and get done before bonking. Coming out of the food stop, I watched a huge group go way high on the hill, and I got the bit in my teeth for the last loop. I almost gave away two spots to Peter Grollman and Daniel Schaublin by bobbling the GO control.
Garmin has 16.3km for distance (@7:38/km).

Mapping (Field-checking) 6:30 [0]

Did the Rd Pond updates in the morning, and started on Trail-O/Buckner updates in the afternoon. Slow going, but I think I like using the aerial photo as a basemap. The doc. protectors I used were a little too opaque, and I should have taped the paper down rather than just rely on the registration marks.

Went out in late morning to do woods intervals up on the ski-slope ridge, since I had to get the car seats back to Vanya & kids. I warmed-up from the house, then did 700, 1200, 700, 700 (roughly) by Garmin.
