Walk with mum from Quillan up towards the gorge and the devils viewpoint . The latter was a bit underwhelming but there were some nice trails. Went exploring on the way back and got stuck in some not-so-nice bush.
Left knee sore in one specific spot, but can't work out why. Walking didn't seem to bother it though.

Back to Quillian lakes to explore the rest of route #7. God this was tough and physical, climbs were steep and rough and a lot of the trail was unused. However, Bitrague was a great highlight with great views and lovely trails around it. Will be back to this part of the run.

Explore with mum from the Quillan lakes. found the start of the trail route #7 but it was steep and slow going so bailed to the nearest road. Tough going down the steep bush but we got out okay - after a wee paddle to cross a stream.

Back from Couiza along so e new trails, many not very interesting, although I did find a new a new biking route. Also got electrocuted and had a very early experience when all the giant worms in a field were making a sucking noise as I ran over them. Kind of like that film from the 80's.

Very wet morning so opted to avoid the trails. About half road and gravel track with a nice climb, ran at a tempo pace for most with effort in the last few km. Not the kind of run that my body is used to.

Headed back down towards Montazel as the trails there are less sticky, and after the rain the other night that felt like a good plan. Had a surprising amount of fun exploring some new trails. Trying to rain the whole time but next enough to get wet.

Easy trot to the north of Esperaza. Found some lovely wee trails above Montazels, including lots of scarecrows. Nearly stood on a wee snake near the end - made me just a goof foot mid stride! Apparently a ladder snake and not poisonous.

MDC run around Llantrisant in fading light, decent group out but just about everyone opted for the slower group, leaving just 4 of us in the faster group. Really struggled to get moving at the start, but eventually got going. Explored some new bike paths and checked out some new thinning before heading out of the woods. Found a great new way off the hill and back along the valley. Possibly the first MDC run that I've done without a stop?
