Walk 2:00:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Walk with rest of family from Ladybower up to Black Tor and along Derwent edge until White Tor. Cold wet and windy for most of the walk.

Run - Trail 1:48:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Ran back from White Tor via Stanedge Pole and the top of Rivelin. Felt fine for first half but then got real thirsty and a head ache and slowed a lot. Pretty tired now.

Strength exercises 10:00 [3]

Run - Trail 1:11:00 [3]

Redmires to Burbage and back to Stanage, nice loop nut too many good trails for dobs - legs now a bit sore (especially right knee). Felt great on flatish stuff but a bit slow on climbs.

Run - Trail 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Up to Rivelin Dam with Shane (clockwise), wet and slippery and not feeling at all lively. Managed to put a bit of effort into the final climb though. Feeling tired this evening.

Run - Trail 1:02:00 [3]

Burbage and Longshaw with Shane. Wanted to run but my legs didn't seam to think it was such a good idea. Maqnaged to run quite a bit of it at a respectable pace but was very frustrating.

Note
(rest day)

Had to go to Matt's for pancakes, was I expected to run as well?

Circuits 45:00 [4]

Faye and Shane joined me tonight. For once I wasn't too tired from the weekend so tried a bit harder on the cardio exercises. Legs feeling it now. Still having problems with my back hurting on some exercises.

Warm up/down 15:00 [2]

A bit of cycling anf the normal routine for circuits.

Sunday Feb 18, 2007 #

Walk 4:00:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Finished Cannock survey. Three shorter walks today so not hard work. Still a long day though and feel as if someones stolen Sunday.

Saturday Feb 17, 2007 #

Run - Trail 1:12:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Redmires upto Stanage and back via conduit and lower res. Felt quite good and actually ran most of it. Ground very soft and wet and still a bit sluggish from last week, but very much enjoyed it.

Friday Feb 16, 2007 #

Run - Road 1:08:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Ran with Matt over to the climbing works on London road, left him there and came back in the pouring rain via the top of Eccy road. No speed at all on roads and took quite a while to get going.

Thursday Feb 15, 2007 #

Run - Trail 1:07:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Up Rivelin past the A57, cut to the N and then straight down and back up behind the waterworks. Was going to go for longer but was running out of daylight. Wet and slippery, felt ok as long as I didn''t put a lot of effort in. Takes a while to recover from a long run.

Note
(rest day)

No real excusse for a day off, went shopping with Fionne and didn't get back until gone 8. Did spend two hours working in the Bot gardesns in the morning but it wasn't hard enought to count as training.

Tuesday Feb 13, 2007 #

Run - Trail 27:30 [2]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Quick run with Matt along the top of Rivelin. Still very tired and no strength.

Monday Feb 12, 2007 #

Circuits 45:00 [3]

Leg exercises hard work after yesterday so didn't try too hard. Introduced Matt and Chris to circuits - we'll see if they're still walking today...

Warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Warm and down for circuits

Sunday Feb 11, 2007 #

Run - Trail 3:22:00 [3]

Edale sky line from Hope. Still quite a bit of very wet snow around and the water was freezing. Ran with Ian N and Niall. Made it to just before 3 hours before feeling knackered, so only last climb up Win Hill was hard work. Tired but not hurting as the pace was quite slow.

Friday Feb 9, 2007 #

Run - Trail 47:30 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

First real run in a while... felt quite good but the conditions were pretty tough, wet snow and sleet, thought it did get colder and turn to snow so the end of the run was great. Old loop up Rivelin and back along the top but from new house in Crookes - 12 minutes shorter.

Short Night O arounf Bingham. Fecking steep! Still well tired from all the miles walked last week, but happy enought that I managed to keep jogging up all the hills. Battery is knackered, died completlry afterr leaving the last control.

Run - Road 15:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel GT 2100

Run home from Night O with Rob and Nails. Nice and easy.

Sunday Feb 4, 2007 #

Run - Trail 58:00 [1]

Fun run around Chatsworth grounds with Conor, Kieran, Shane and Fionne. Spent a lot of time static and looking at the view. Smashing day. Just about the right energy level after last week.
