Course vetting a future SMOC course. Lots and lots of fight, this one is going to be a tough one for people, but a superb test of navigation skills. Enjoyed the snow falling!

Another scenic run through Al Sabo Nature Preserve. Rehab run, and looking like everything w/ the hamstring us doing just fine. Calling this a successful recovery, although I will keep the speed and distance disciplined for another week just to be sure nothing goes awry.

Despite hamstring injury decided to still run the blue sprint. All things considered (return from rustiness from Afghanistan, and injury) I was feeling really good during the race, and of course really awesome sprint course right on IU with lots of turns. But for some reason I ran right past #22 not realizing it until I finished and was told I mispunched, argh! Pretty dramatic return to the sport after 8 months... but also realizing that based on my finish time I would have met my goal to score in the 60's on Blue, and that was with the injury and rustiness, so despite the drama this weekend for me I think I'm actually having a good return to the sport. Best of all was time w/ the fam as always. For now the priority is to heal this hamstring.
