Hiking 3:06:22 [3] 11.73 km (15:54 / km) +305m 14:04 / km

Another hike through the magnificent gorge d'Areuse with a friend. We just escaped the rain and thunderstorm before getting on the train.
The gorge is beautiful no matter when and how. Lots of good light and strong colors. Very few people. Quite nice.

After an almost sleepless night, felt energetic in the morning, so I decided to go through with my plan for the uphill loop to Prè Devant.
However, while biking realised that I didn't feel that strong anymore. At the beginning stayed within my normal times but after Montmolin, it got much harder. Tried to keep on drinking but had to walk twice and shake off my legs. My head was just way too tired. Eventually, made it up and immediately aimed downhill again after eating a granola bar. Made it home a bit shaky, took a shower and a nap.
Forgot to start my garming, realized at 40 min where I checked my bike for a noise and stopped.

Mountain Biking 1:20:41 [2] 17.91 km (4:30 / km) +260m 4:12 / km

Went to Neuchâtel to check out the new name logo they put in a park on the lake, quite fun, but for photography facing away from the sun ALL day, hmm. Then went to town and meandered around to check on the laundry lines they had put up again to give it a mediterran flair. Discovered more beautifully painted murals in the old alleyways. So much fun. Eventually, headed up to the cathedral and on to the next forest and climbed some more until I reached the elevation above Peseux and biked through the woods to the other end. Dropped down to SaMa's place for a quick hello (they were all busy) and went further down through the vineyards home. A fun loop. Just what I needed to get the cobwebs out of my muscles from yesterday's jaunt in the canyon.

Running 42:31 [2] 3.77 km (11:16 / km) +75m 10:15 / km

Didn't quite know what to do today, had the car to my disposal but it was threadening rain and I didn't want to be on wet rock. So, I stopped by Sandra's and she had time to chat while she prepared a lasagna. Afterwards, felt better with a clearer head so I went to Chambrelien to park and wanted to do the loop into the gorge d'Areuse.
Unfortunately, it started to drizzle and the very rocky, exposed high trail over lots of cliffs was quite slow as I didn't want to slide or trip. Still had fun and got down to the Areuse quite quickly. Had to take off my jacket as it was wet but much warmer down below. (That's where my watch turned itself off and I had to restart it again.)

Running 40:23 [3] 3.57 km (11:19 / km) +131m 9:34 / km

A run/jog with obstacles: military presence in the woods and logging going on. Took another route around on a trail I didn't know, then veered off onto another trail which was blocked by downed trees, so I bushwhacked and eventually lost interest in running and made my way back on the road. Well, I was out, though I felt like doing better today.
