Didn't have much time so I thought I'd go the other way uphill for a change and would turn around when I'd be too slow. But it went just fine, went over and up to Trois Rods and then up the woods (Chassaigne) to the level of the castle of Rochefort. I made it up there in 52 min (!! :-)), decided to take the direct way down on the regular road. So I started at the one and only intersection in Rochefort and zoomed down home through Bôle and Colombier in 7 min! Wow, that was fast and no car passed me until I was almost home.

I have been having such a low-energy week, I couldn't be motivated partially also because of the rain, but then just didn't have the energy to go outside. So today, I called Sandra whether I could do some gardening (weeding and planting two rose bushes) and she agreed. So I biked up, did work a bit in the garden which I mustn't have done since last summer but was quite happy again. Followed this by a loop uphill and was quickly back home racing downhill. :-). What a bit of gardening and a bike ride can do! It's amazing therapy.
