We're in Davos again with Sandra, Marc and Matti and Lena in an apartment. Lots and lots of beautiful snow.
I had a touch of some kind of flu, that is stomach/digestion problems and felt with not much energy and hurting in the joints (knees, thumbs mostly). Decided to go skating anyway as it was so wonderful and just took it easy (if that's possible with the skating technique). Both knees hurt quite a bit and was discouraged whether they took a turn for the worse. Tried to align the kneecap correctly over the skis, but it was hard today to hold my balance.
At the end, tried to find another way back to our house and walked a winter walking trail that went under the railroad tracks and then wanted to cross over the big field to the house. BUT, I first found no way up the snow wall to the top until much later where there was a little gap to go up the 1 1/2 - 2 m snow wall. On top I had expected a smooth powdery snowfield but it looked jagged like a glacier and I had to find my way through. So slow going which was all included in the total time.
Arrived home fairly cold though. But it was fun.
