Bike O race 47:16 [5] 13.1 km (3:36 / km) +242m 3:18 / km

MTBO Middle Champs. Very flat area and good course. As intricate as it could get in Switzerland, could use only few single trails, mostly forest roads and a tricky railroad track in the middle (where to cross).
Came in 3rd in W55+, unfortunately today we had a few 55year olds entering and one of them was definitely very strong. We have to up our age class in Switzerland to 60+ UHU (under hundred). So far we were only a few but everybody was 64 and older, so younger women were never a problem ;-/).
We were 9 in our class which was a first for us!
The Aargau O-Club really went all out with publicity locally and attracting more participants than normal, in fact it was double. I guess it will not be like that at all the events.

Mountain Biking 30:00 [2] 4.9 km (6:07 / km)

Riding to the point where I was meeting my ride to Basel.

Mountain Biking 38:32 [3] 8.9 km (4:20 / km) +123m 4:03 / km

Riding home from the point I was dropped off.

We drove to Basel for the Bike-O and we got there, it rained cats and dogs. My driver always said that he would not ride a bike-O in the rain. I was welcome to go, but he needed to wait at least 2 hours for me to be back.
We waited and debated, then I also went to the info, but basically they had closed the registration. So I decided it was best to head back as it was still coming down in buckets.
Kind of disappointed and showed me why I like to be independent and go alone but today I had no car. I had contemplated going by train, but then this guy contacted me from the club and offered a ride. In Neuchâtel it was mostly sunny. Oh well.

Nice bike tour with Véronique chatting (almost) all the way! We could not take unpaved trails or forest roads as she is still "afraid" of falling with her long nail from the trocanter into the femur and 2 screws to secure it (she fell cross-country skiing in Lapland and had a nasty break of the upper femur). She is usually the great athlete and is already again quite stronger on the uphill than I am. Very windy with changing clouds, no rain, but beautiful scenery.

Running 47:07 [3] 5.35 km (8:49 / km) +157m 7:41 / km

Nice run on my regular loop up in Bôle. Always try to find a new loop, but this one just has it all, climbs, trails, variety.
