Back home again and getting over the worst of jet-lag. My first run starting from Pré-Devant and up to Mont Racine. From there I took a new version back to the car which worked out quite well. I started in a light but warm rainshower, sun greeted me on Mont Racine and all the way back just before rain and thunder started again. So a wunderful Martagon Lily (Türkenbund) in the forest, they're protected and I have never seen one in our parts in the Jura nor that high up.

First a hike with Urs to the lake from there a jog/run in Red Rock State Park. It's a beautiful park especially on a day like this. Lots of people about closer to the parking area, further up it was very quiet. I missed a turn-off, probably because it looked different than 2 years ago due to floods which had washed out and changed certain gullies. So I had to backtrack until i found my turn-off which was actually pretty big and obvious coming from high down the gully.
Lots of stops for pictures.

Hiking 1:36:03 [1] 4.72 km (20:20 / km) +138m 17:44 / km

A hike in Mueller State Park with Molly, Christoph and their 2 girls (Eliza 2 yrs, Imogene 3 mos) and their 2 dogs.
Slow beginning, then Eliza wanted to get out of being carried and walk, skip and bounce herself. All of a sudden, we noticed dark clouds moving fast our way and it actually started to rain a little (225 drops) but with thunder and lightning. So we split up as we were about in the middle and Molly and Christoph with the girls and one dog went back the way we came, and Urs and I with small Bruno (dog) finished the loop and returned on the road to the car. Bruno needed to be carried for the most part (see pix on FB, it's very cute!) and strange being carried by Urs who does not necessarily like dogs, but they like him a lot!
