After a long swim in the lake with Alexandra and her daughters, and some visiting and drinking a little white wine and chips, I rode home along the lake, very peacefully ;-))!

Mountain Biking 39:45 [3] 5.81 km (6:51 / km) +178m 5:56 / km

Biking up to the start which was brutal with the steep climb and the heat. Long way back from the finish (in Gränichen) but luckily no climb (not shown on Garmin).
1 PM

Bike O race 1:22:34 [5] 17.0 km (4:51 / km) +470m 4:16 / km

Very hot day, 32-35 degrees; so I really took my time to study the legs to avoid any unnecessary climb which I actually succeeded. I had a flow after the 3rd control trying to keep with the map and decide while riding which routes to take (there were quite many trails and forest roads).
The beginning was less successful as right after the start on a steep and rocky downhill my map holder became loose again and fell over. I tried while riding to tighten it as much as possible, but w my sweaty hands, it was hard. I tightened it whenever I had a chance during the whole race but lost less and less time doing so as I relaxed knowing that I prob. could finish the race w this handicap. At the beginning, my chain also jumped out and I had a moment of frustration.
Luckily, things got better and I caught 2 other women in my class which was a boost, of course. Ended up winning the race ;-).

Swimming 10:00 [1] 0.6 km (16:40 / km)

A quick swim in the lake; we are having a heat wave with beautiful weather.
My body was very tired today (reaction from muscle tension/connective tissue release in yoga?).

Yoga 1:10:00 [2]

First yoga class again for the semester until end of January 2017. It was again, very good with a long and intense vinyasa series. I actually got to my limit (!) and was so glad when we finally could calm down and end with a short meditation.
Note: I was sore the following day in my arms, triceps and upper body. The legs felt really nicely stretched out, the connecting tissue released quite quickly after the 8-week summer break with no stretching.
My whole body was tired out after that.
