Skateskiing 1:32:36 [3] 11.38 km (8:08 / km) +216m 7:26 / km

I thought that we had some new powder snow and was looking forward to nice tracks. Well, there was about 1 cm of powder which was nice to ski on for about 2/3 of the way. But the rest was pure ice mixed with grass, roots, rocks and pine cones on places where the wind had blown away all the snow which was uphill. I had a terrible time getting ahead. I really felt my knees and my right knee in particular. With the 50% or less meniscii left in my knees, I did not have the strength nor the knees to do it. It was tough and it hurt a lot afterwards. I hope I did not injure anything and need to rest for a while. We had a sunny day for a change, but up there I found clouds and wind :-/.

Running 51:41 [3] 5.64 km (9:10 / km) +163m 8:00 / km

Good day after some fresh snow (not much though) but it's colder, finally. Had to climb over 2 uprooted trees on the trail and there were lots of branches, too, which were blown down from the 2 storms of the last 2 days. It showed me that it was wise not to go into the woods then.
Extended my loop by appr. 600 m, hopefully can add a km in the end. Also chatted w a woman who thought I was brave to be in the forest today, but so was she!

Yoga 1:15:00 [2]

My second yoga class, I really like it, it has a good mix of vinyiasa yoga and meditation. Felt very much refreshed afterwards. A bd present to myself ;-)).

Running 1:11:49 [3] 7.92 km (9:04 / km) +129m 8:23 / km

Another exploratory run mostly on paved roads or grassy trails avoiding woods or trees. We're having a very strong wind- and rain storm, and it was quite dangerous going into the woods. Was so happy to find other trails/little roads to connect and to find to eventually get into the gorge of the Areuse. Also found a connection through the vineyards and over fields. Came home soaked, but had a good jacket to protect me from getting cold. (The jacket was not water-proof, but for a shorter run just perfect and kept me warm.)
