We were babysitting Matti for the Weekend, and I was sneaking away during his nap to do a run on the loop I tried before. This time, though, I took the car a little further up as a starting point and I added another smaller loop to have a less steep climb.
Still have sore leg muscles and they felt tired, but I had to take advantage of an opportunity.

Riding my bike to the beginning of the marked running Loops.

The first run in the new place! Love those Woods and the gnarly trails. Tried out the green (marked) Loop. It first goes up steeply, then a very nice trail along the same Elevation, a steep downhill and another quite nice trail returning on the same Elevation. I will have to try to find other ways to go up and come back down thats not as steep.
Did not push it but considered it an exploratory run.
Nice to be out after having had Matti and Lena overnight (with a very short night) and then working hard all afternoon to organise and install the Office. Again, lots of Lifting and shuffling stuff around.
Btw: I had sore quads after Tuesday eve Training, I am really out of shape to feel the little downhill running I did. But, I really haven't gone downhill in a year except on a bike. So, I'd better start working on a decent running shape again.

Ride downhill home into a beautiful sunset with an incredible view over the lake and the Alps dipped in rose to violett Colors. Wow!

Went to an ANCO Training in downtown Neuchâtel (area as in WMOC sprint final) and jogged pretty much all the way but not an extensive effort. Haven't run in something like 2 weeks or more now, so took it easy.
It was Marc's birthday and there were at least 6 different cakes and pies full of candles that he had to blow out. Lots of fun.
