Jogging 36:33 [2] 3.26 km (11:13 / km) +80m 9:59 / km

Knee was fine after skiing yesterday!
Went for a little jog, a little longer than on Monday.
Still the kneecap and 2 meniscii have trouble figuring out where they ought to be and eventually usually settle down.

Downhill skiing 45:00 [2] 4.0 km (11:15 / km)

Went with Urs for the ski-day with his fitness club. It snowed heavily all day (finally!) and it was not the day to be out, but with a group we had to go anyway.
Adelboden: so I did my first turns in deep snow (beautiful!), on steep slopes (too hard on the knee) with very poor visibility. It was hard to decide that I was not ready for this yet. The snow was just outstanding: deep and fluffy, the way I usually love to ski. But my right knee was really hurting on the left-hand turns. Additionally, I could not make out depressions and knolls so it was hard to be prepared for turns and weight distribution.
Took the gondola back down and up to Chuenisbärgli where we had a fondue in the evening.
Ski down at night went really well, again the snow was just beautiful and with my night-O lamp I had very good visibility and could make turns without any problems. :-) :-). The knee held!

PS: my Ski-Ometer actually said that I skied 14 k!! Dont' believe that.

Jogging 30:00 [2] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

Went from the house a little jog along the Aare, 15 min up and back. It was almost dark and all on pavement, but I tried my best to jog "lightly".

Mini Trampolin 30:00 [2]

30 min of mini tramp as usual at different speeds and other variations.

Finished up with stretches (30 min)

Walked to town with Matti after the heaviest of rain and took the bus back home which Matti always loves.

Unspecified 1 [0]

Sandra brought Matti over already in the morning. Sooo, no training for me except the usual lifting (Matti), flexibilities (crawling on the floor for various toys, setting up etc. ;-)) and endurance:
walked him to the Dählhölzli and the animal park; found a male deer with huge antlers kicking around a discarded Christmas tree, some fighting ibex and chamois. Walked back along the Aare, ca 3 km total. But the best part: whatever the PT did yesterday must have loosened up something in my knee and it felt freer to move. NO limping at all today! I hope it stays that way. :-)

Jogging 30:00 [2] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

First run, sorry, just ultra-slow jogging since end of September. The knee is still funny, swollen. The pain keeps shifting, from outer meniscus to inner meniscus to kneecap. All need to find their place again.
It has been a very slow progress. I thought maybe jogging outside would get my various bony and ligamentous parts in place again a bit, and I think it did. It was not more swollen afterwards. And breathing the warm, fresh air worked wonders on my psyche.

Physical Therapy 25:00 [1]

Rehab biking on a "funny" bike while lying flat and having thus no body weight on the pedals (partially paraglegic patients use this). It is good to teach my legs motion without "limping". Eventually, when I concentrated, I could move without always hesitating at one angle. Did 1000x forwards, 300x backwards.

PT with lots of manual therapy, that is loosening up the knee capsule, lengthening the tendons and ligaments, massaging the scar across the front of my kneecap.
