First longer tour on my wonderful "new" and speedy road bike all by myself. Fun. Still leery about getting my foot out of the pedal if I need to.
Knee somewhat better: started with the lymphdrainage on Tuesday which helped flush out some of the puffiness. At night, I heard it crack in my knee as if something got put in the correct place again? Wed, the swelling was almost gone and the knee felt "almost" painfree at least as good as it had been in many weeks.
Thu, I visited an old friend who is a physical therapist among lots of other things, but she only works on a private basis any longer. She really worked on my fascia on the leg (which hurts like hell), but I could move the knee lots more. She feels there's no structural damage (I am not quite sure about that) but I agree that my quads and calves are extremely tight and hurt actually more than the knee itself. I could not bend the knee more than 90 degrees these past weeks.
Started to work on lengthening my hamstrings, quads and calves and slowly, slowly, very minimal I can move the knee a bit more. But most importantly, the muscles don't scream as much anymore and don't feel like rocks that block all movement.
Finally, a little hopeful. Apptmt at orthopedic Dr. on the 17th (so hard to get an apptm!).

First longer outing on my "new" and fast road bike. Went just fine and it was so much fun to accelerate so easily on that bike.

Biking I can still do even though it hurts also, but movement is good, too. Trying a new loop.
