Bike O race 50:05 [5] 9.57 km (5:14 / km) +373m 4:23 / km

I was determined to try the Swiss Middle Distance Champ in Bike-O. So I took a Theraflu (or Neo Citran in CH) in the morning and it held until about 2 pm. I did better than expected but I could never push all the way as my lungs would not give more than they could.
Unfortunately the first 2/3 of the course (until km4) was through the neighborhoods and on a big road (and I made a 2-min mistake in the neighborhood as I missed a drive-through the buildings), and I knew I would not have the speed required. But back in the woods the course was a little better and on three downhill legs on little trails I had best times ;-)! But as soon as it went uphill I was a little slower.
I'm still very pleased with it and maybe I coughed up that nasty bug in my lungs in the process ;-/)? Anyway, I came in third, 4 1/2 min behind the leader, so there would have been potential.
I went home and took an hour deep-sleep nap!

Hiking 1:03:55 [1] 3.81 km (16:47 / km) +191m 13:25 / km

Finally could sleep well after the neighbor gave me another kind of lozenge to suck on.
Urs and I went on a gentle walk as again, the sun was out for a beautiful (longest) day of the year.

Mountain Biking 1:25:01 [2] 23.92 km (3:33 / km) +257m 3:22 / km

After 24 hours with Matti-sitting (lots of fun), the cold-cough hit me with full force again, I barely slept at all and stayed in bed till noon as I had no energy to get up.
But the sun was shining so beautifully and I thought that the sun will get me out of my physical and mental funk, so I did a short bike ride and tried hard not to get my heart-rate up, that is, to tax my lungs. Felt really good.
But the being-sick-and-having-little-voice-left feeling remained and I got through the rest of the day.

Running 40:13 [2] 5.14 km (7:50 / km) +143m 6:52 / km

After 2 days at work, I needed to clear out my lungs from all the dust and grime from the renovation in my former work area, so I went for a little jog.

I had been working very hard, re-potting my tall and huge plants which was a tremendous job and very hard work. My hands have sore muscles, and also the forearms are sore as well as my back.

Actually, I should write down all the strength training I did, all what it takes to re-pot big ficus trees (2-3 m high) into 70l pots ;-).
