Running 3:45 [2] 0.6 km (6:15 / km) +2m 6:09 / km

Warm-up to the start.

Orienteering race 13:03 [4] 1.74 km (7:31 / km) +1m 7:30 / km

(Forgot to start my watch at the start).
Sprint in Langenthal. I had to be careful to see all the passages and slowed several times for a second just to be sure. Won by a margin of almost 2 minutes! Wow :-).

Crosstrainer 45:00 [2]

Matti was staying with us from Friday afternoon until Sunday when I returned him at the O-meet. So it was hard to find time for a training ;-). Did a crosstrainer workout late night Saturday evening.
Felt good after all the walking, lifting, carrying him and playing on the playground with the slide and the swing.

Running 1:30:56 [3] 12.3 km (7:24 / km) +187m 6:52 / km

First long run in a while. Quads still hurting, but felt quite good. Happy with it.

Crosstrainer 40:00 [2]

I thought I'd better take a break from running on pavement and let those quads heal. A crosstrainer workout while watching the last World Cup downhill race.

Running 50:24 [3] 6.61 km (7:38 / km) +235m 6:29 / km

Had sore muscles, mostly quads, from running on Sunday? I guess it's from running again on harder surfaces and some pavement. Cross-country skiing must have been so gentle on my muscles. Now, I'm back to "pounding" those hard-packed Swiss trails and roads.
We have another beautiful day with warm temps.

PS: I went out on our terrace and noticed that the tulips are already up about 10 cm plus other flowers I planted last fall. Amazingly early! But then we have had no winter to speak of.
