Run to the start (in-between, I was picked up by a mini-bus that was transporting the older and very young people to the vicinity of the start. I was lucky as it would have been far).

Orienteering race 59:18 [5] 5.47 km (10:50 / km) +319m 8:24 / km

Train-by-racing: as it was a beautiful day (finally!) I wanted to run in this regional O-meet even though my preparations weren't ideal. So I really just enjoyed it. Lots of trail and gravel road running, more a cross-country race than orienteering. But good training anyway.

Wonderful, easy bike ride around the Lake of Murten. Unfortunately, lots of traffic in spots where the ride was on the road because it was a beautiful Sunday and everybody was outside.

A little jog-walk first by myself, then meeting Sandra who was doing a walk. We passed the Dählhölzli animal park and saw a young ibex that must just have been born as the umbilical cord was still hanging out of its mother. Another youngish ibex was pushing the newborn down the rocky slope, maybe wanting to kill it as it was competition (?), but we went on and couldn't watch helplessly.
It felt good to stretch the legs a bit and do some easy jogging. My muscles were in a knot again, I seem to have these periods of times when the fascia is so tight.
