Mini Trampolin 30:00 [2]

Had to spend the whole day inside even though it was a gorgeous day in the Alps. But I had just been away for 2 days, so I needed to do some housework. Then SaMa came over late afternoon for a pre-birthday dinner.
Did 30 min of trampolin running while watching the slalom world champs 2nd run. Did lots of jumping and one-leg hopping and proprioception training for my right knee that didnt' like all that skiing and was swollen.

Downhill skiing 1:30:00 [2]

We went to Adelboden for an afternoon of incredible downhill skiing. Did a lot of carving with the "Lara Knick and the Russi Zug". Felt like a fast slalom skier carving around bumps. Did some of the long downhills non-stop until my quads were really screaming.

We had our yearly Fondue up on one Alp (Chuenisbergli) and skied down the World Cup slope at night with our tiny headlamps. Fun and scary sometimes.

Went over to Sandra (she felt sick, so we chatted and drank tea). Then went by myself up to Vue-des-Alpes, but the fog was thick up there. Continued down the other side until I found a spot where the clouds/fog were a little higher. It was the same place as before Christmas.
Skied down the valley pretty quickly, practicing some skating techniques. Turned around after 32 minutes and soon felt it that I was a bit tired and that it all was slightly uphill. Still tried some alternating techniques and practiced them. Pretty hard.
Still a good workout.

Kicked myself out the door late afternoon on this grey wintery day. Went back and put on my Innovate snow stud shoes. Trails were hardpacked with snow and lots of ice was on sidewalks and roads.
Did a figure-8 loop from home into the Dählhölzli and went partially through some deep snow. Fun but slow and muscles did not like the cold.
