Running 40:35 [2] 4.06 km (10:00 / km) +131m 8:37 / km

Quick run in Fox run park before we left for DIA and Switzerland. Beautiful weather, blue sky and sunshine. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I think I would actually and really train more if I were still living in ColSpgs. The trails are so soft and varied and very inviting to run on them.

Running 58:36 [3] 5.64 km (10:24 / km) +158m 9:07 / km

Running in the Red Rock Park, a new area for me. Wonderful trails, so gentle, going out all uphill. I was surprised that I could actually jog all the way despite the altitude. It was very easy on my leg muscles, I wish we had soft trails like that in CH.
Took lots of pictures, so good to be in Colorado Springs again!

Hiking 1:09:30 [2] 4.03 km (17:14 / km) +155m 14:28 / km

A quick hike into the Canyon de Chelly downto the White House ruins. Again, an incredible trail starting with a tunnel blasted into the top rock layer, then thoroughly enjoyable fast hike down to the bottom. Followed the dry riverbed a bit to the ruins of the Anasazi people. An older woman was sitting there selling her jewelry, so I chatted with her quite a bit in the evening sun. What a beautiful scenery and experience. It turns out she lives down in the canyon and is 67 years old, her name is Winny. Fast hike back up where Urs was waiting. (he is still too sick for any excertion and runs a fever on and off :-(.
