Went with Urs to the Finnenbahn (woodchip track) and did the 12 min test plus 5x600, 3km loops. Tried to push it a bit. Slow coming back to the car with Urs.

Decided on the spot to take advantage of another beautiful day since I had missed the sunny days this week because of work. I thought I would go someplace close to be back around 5 or 6 in the evening. I climbed fine, and wanted to do the loop around the back. When I started the 180 m climb back up on the ridge, I had another bout of weakness. As I was alone and no person in sight, and I was on a faint trail someplace hardly anybody ever goes, I tried to be really reasonable about it and sat down every 50 altitude meters or so. Finally, I reached the crest at exactly the spot where the trail (no visible) dipped down steeply on the other side. Relief! But I had to remain very careful as this trail was really exposed and steep. Finally, I reached the alp with cows down there and followed the dirt road back for appr. 5 k. I was hoping for a car to pick me up, but the farmers were all milking their cows. Eventually made it back to the car, really beat and thoroughly exhausted but relieved I make it.
