Orienteering race 58:49 [5] 6.16 km (9:33 / km) +157m 8:28 / km

Long Distance Swiss O-Champs: we were running in the Jura and above the fog in beautiful sunshine. Easy O-race over meadows. The hardest thing was trying to keep track of the single trees and rough open areas, however, the controls were sometimes visible from far away. I truly enjoyed the area and the O-race, but at the same time realised that I was running with the pulled hand-brake. It wasn't a good "running" day with some back pain and leg tightness. And I only ended up being 22nd from almost 40 women in my class, many were way faster even though I usually would beat them. Oh well, it was a beautiful day out anyway.

Running 13:56 [3] 0.93 km (15:04 / km) +138m 8:38 / km

Warm-up to the start going all uphill and as usual for me (and I like it that way) being a little short on time.

Orienteering 34:14 [2] 1.89 km (18:09 / km) +96m 14:28 / km

A little orienteering jog, tried to take it easy as I was planning to run an O-race the next day. Nice woods!
O-camp race for the kids, I shortcut and collected 2 controls.

Orienteering 1:14:09 [2] 7.0 km (10:36 / km) +276m 8:51 / km

Went to an O-camp from Sandra and Marc's O-club with "their" juniors to help with cooking. (I probably should put cooking as a new category on AP as it really involved some heavy work with those huge pots and quantities we were preparing. What intensity would peeling and cutting 11 onions be??) .
Did an easy jog up to where they had their training session and did a loop from there with the O-map alternating between slow Oing and checking out the map, helping some of the youths and a little faster Oing, but never really pushing it. Fun map to orienteer with.

Orienteering 53:49 [3] 7.81 km (6:53 / km) +232m 6:00 / km

Went to do the Bremer 7k+ loop, expected to be slower as had back pain, but it went better the longer I ran. Ok time considering the fact that I am just starting out again.

Teaching classes 1:00:00 [1]

Teaching of my 2 Monday classes; did the Nordic Walking as a fitness class as it was raining cats and dogs (big rock- and mudslides in our region, several roads and traintracks got washed away; the Aare in Bern was close to flooding, it had raised 2 meters within the last few days, unbelievable).
