Running 56:57 [3] 4.93 km (11:33 / km) +306m 8:49 / km

Still in Seefeld, Austria, running to the top of Gschwandtkopf from the hotel and coming down the beautiful green grassy skislope. Then driving back home.

Mountain Biking 1:46:34 [2] 13.75 km (7:45 / km) +358m 6:51 / km

Riding from Mösern around the beautiful Mösern Lake, then trying to find the Friedensglockenweg around a hill, but could not, so eventually we went the other way around. Very beautiful. At the end, we had to go and look at this famous Friedensglocke (peace bell).

Mountain Biking 10:13 [2] 1.47 km (6:56 / km) +47m 5:59 / km

Seefeld, Austria: riding the bikes over to the cog taking it (with the bikes) up to the Rosshütte.

Hiking 1:31:23 [2] 3.46 km (26:22 / km) +309m 18:14 / km

We left the bikes at the middle station (Rosshütte), took another gondola up to the crest. From there we hiked to the Seefeld Spitze, then back into a valley and around and up again to the top of another gondola, the Härmelekopfbahn.
From there the gondola back to the middle station, the Rosshütte.
1 PM

Mountain Biking 1:50:51 [3] 15.41 km (7:11 / km) +370m 6:25 / km

From the Rosshütte came down 600 m into Seefeld (!), then we biked south around the Gschwandkopf and back to hotel. This became harder and harder as there were lots of little ups and downs. Often, we had trouble finding the correct way as the descriptions from the bikebook or the hikingguide did not match reality, and it was hard to make the right description. Usually, though, those Nordic Walking or running trails were well marked with numbers and km-markers.
Gorgeous and beautiful day with incredible scenery!

Mountain Biking 1:22:16 [2] 11.07 km (7:26 / km) +133m 7:00 / km

Seefelt, Austria: after driving over (4 1/2 hrs) and dropping Sandra off for her coaching of the Neuenburger juniors for their team trials for JWOC etc, we headed for an exploratory ride north of Seefeld until it dropped too much and we needed to be back for dinner at the hotel! Nice place though where the nordic sports of the winter Olympics were held in 1964 and 1976!

Running 47:03 [3] 6.25 km (7:31 / km) +235m 6:20 / km

On Monday I had a swollen left knee and I was worried whether I should run today or not. It turned out to be not bad for it, the swelling went down a bit and I can move it better. I have no idea as of the reason, another meniscus injury, Baker's cyst or an inflammed bursa in the back of my knee? We'll see.

Did the usual Elfenauloop and felt ok.

Teaching classes 1:30:00 [2]

Teaching my 3 Tuesday classes all with the same emphasis on deltoid and tricep training besides the usual stomach/back exercises.
As always, the evening class was the toughest.

Nordic Walking 55:00 [1] 4.2 km (13:06 / km) +60m 12:13 / km

NW class with seniors: went from Pizpaz restaurant to Kleiner Rugen and did a circle, took some smallish trails which was a challenge for them! Afterwards, having pizza at the restaurant!

Before teaching the core conditioning class with emphasis on deltoid and tricep training with the strong bands with handles. (sore again the following days ;-))
