Running 59:12 [3] 6.54 km (9:03 / km) +150m 8:07 / km

Did a sight-seeing run BEFORE breakfast!!! As we're in a hotel in the old town part of Quebec on the harbour level I first had to climb and climb and climb (178 + 278 + some 20 more) which was quite a feat. Jogged them all. Stayed up on the Promenade des Gouverneurs below the Citadel into the woods and Parc de Coulogne (not the famous and infamous Bois de Boulogne near Paris!). Very pretty, lots of it on dirt trails. Turned at 29 min and headed back through the Park on grass fields, then following the walls of the citadel back down to castle and hotel Frontenac and down to the lower town. Very wonderful run, very hot and humid!!

Running 6.5 km ( / km) +200m / km

Evening run in Tadoussac, on St.Laurence stream, Quebec, along a lake and then up a steep hill, all on beautiful rugged trails. It was well marked and right in the darkest woods, just beautiful, an orienteer's dream of trails.

Running 1:13:36 [3] 8.0 km (9:12 / km)

Went running with Linda in a beautiful area just on the shore of Lake Ontario. Very hilly, wooded with lakes and a golf course in/between. Ran on little trails most of the time and chatted without stopping!! Unfortunately, my Garmin was down even though I had recharged it fully last Friday, it was turned off all the time, and when I started it this morning, the battery was so low that it would not turn on anymore. Why would it decharge like that without being used and turned off??
