My first o-meet of the year! Feel rusty both with map reading and running through woods. Choose longer routes on trails instead, this way, I'm not breaking my rhythm running. I feel like a snail when I have to go cross-country through the brush or over the briars. Make few mistakes close to the control circles simply because I'm not pushing it enough. Oh well, I'm 4th out of 15, but 2nd place was within easy reach if I had concentrated a little more.

Event: Kerzers Lauf
 

Downhill skiing 1:30:00 [1]

Decided not to race today and slept in, rested and pampered myself. Then, I went up to Adelboden after lunch and got in a good 3 hours of downhill skiing. Springsnow and sunshine, but high clouds werde moving in for another stormsystem. Had a fondue in the mountains and skied out at night with headlamps :-)).

Go on a little jog at lunch to get an idea how I feel! Definitely not good :-(. Can't get going and no strength for running.
Have a little a sore throat and my neck hurts, i think the glands are swollen. So, I decided not to race tomorrow. The 15 k would have been a little too much even if I would take them easy!

Good yoga am class; do a lot of chakra exercises with lots of flow. Feels great!

Thursday Nordic Walking class to Lombach and the shooting range.

Definitely have a sore throat now :-(. And i had hoped to run the Kerzers 15 km this Saturday!

Teaching 2 classes today: one easy yoga in the morning which felt great and the conditioning class in the evening where we did a circuit and I mostly could watch and count the time.

Strange weather: in the morning it pours, at lunch the sun is out when I am running :-)). Do the short loop, Gnome-Sheeptrail on the slippery and muddy trail, somewhat slower on the way out and fastest time back even though I did not even try to push it especially.
27.25 out and 14.49 back.

Nordic Walking up towards Ruedi's Hüttli; we have a wind and rainstorm and SIX people show up anyway! so we walk uphill the Harder somewhat protected from the worst but all drenched.
I am still fighting a cold :-(
