Orienteering race 2:00:00 [4] **** 8.3 km (14:27 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcon

BK Hageby at Deadman's Flat.
Left my Garmin on charger so just ran with my regular watch and no record of distances and split times.
Nice relaxed event and B course was a bit longer than I would normally attempt. I was a bit tired by the fourth loop.
The common controls indicate that there were 4 ways of completing the first 2 loops and 2 ways of completing the second 2 loops.
Started with the 1.4km loop. Overshot all my distances and found control 2 when I should have been at control 1. That was the story of the rest of the day. I was reaching objects much sooner than expected, to the point that I was mentally querying the map scale. However when I did do some pace counting on the roads I was right on the expected 40 double paces per 100m.
Followed Bryan Keely up the earth cliffs at one point. He just ran up them, for me it was 3-point clinbing.
