4-min walk, then I jogged up and down the hill twice with no walking breaks.

Not counting the walking warmup, I ran my 5K in 41:40. That’s as close as I’ll get to the TJOC girls’ 34-min-5K goal.

Lone Star Hiking Trail: Big Creek Scenic Area to Double Lake. 7-min warmup, then jogged for 5 km, then walked the rest of the way. 77 deg when I started, 84 now, but shaded the whole way and a light breeze.

Now I get to walk back! This is a lot easier than TJOC will be!

Lone Star Hiking Trail: Double Lake back to Big Creek Scenic Area after a rest, snack, and refilling water. Forgot to stop my watch, so time should be 1:34, and distance should be 7.81 km. Jogged the first 2 mi, then mostly walked back, except when I thought to run the downhills.

Slow walk; includes a 4-minute stop to talk to neighbors.

On the windsurfer for about 3 hours - mostly just standing holding up the sail. Wind speed was 0 to about 7 mph, but the water temp is 80 deg F! Perfect!! I’ll post a GPS track when I’ve actually gone someplace. I sailed over to Julie’s, and she came down to the dock and we hollared at each other for a few minutes. Julie windsurfs, waterskis, and hydrofoils.

Then, I weed-eated the yard for hours and cleaned stuff off the bulkhead. No need to go to BodyPump or Pound today!
