Trail run at MPEA. This is a very hilly course. I looped back around on the biggest hill twice. Many trees blown down across the trail slowed me down a little bit.

P90X X-Stretch. This was harder than normal because I was tired from the run and not refueled yet.

Bike to work and home. This was the long way to avoid pipeline construction. Tough ride home because it was very windy and my legs were tired from the afternoon run.

Hill repeats today. 1 mile warmup, then up a short, very steep hill and back down, over to a nearby 1/3 mile gradual ascent that is steep at the top then loop back down that hill. I tried to give at least 90% effort on the up hills and very easy coming back down to recover. Did 3 of the short steep and 2 of the longer hills. Then about .5 mile cool down and walk. The longer hill with steep top was much harder. Killer run workout. I think this will be one of my speed workouts as I continue training.

Finally I was back on my bike to ride to work. No more snow covered trails and weather is nice and warm.

Lunchtime run around Lake Elkhorn and some of the trails in the area of work. This was meant to be an easy long run today but I need to extend the route to at least 6 miles.

Lunchtime run around Lake Elkhorn. The first mile was very fast at 7:36 as I ran down to the lake from Supreme then kept 8:00 pace until mile 4. This course has a steep uphill finish to run back from the lake.

P90X Shoulders and Arms workout followed by Ab-Ripper X with Luisa. Very good workout tonight.

P90X Chest and Back. Very tough workout because I have not been doing much resistance training over the last few weeks.

Kick-boxing at the gym with Luisa. Ended up with 10 minutes of core work.
