I intended to do a 15.5 mile ride to train for the North East Triathlon but my route was way shorter than I thought it would be. Should have mapped it out first. Then, the best downhill section of road is being re-paved and has those horrible grooves that shook my bike so much I thought it would collapse with me on it. I had to come to a stop to settle my self down, start again and then go about 8MPH for a 2 mile stretch where I should have been going 25MPH. So, today's ride not a good gauge of time. It was a very hilly route with the Tridelphia Rd hill included.

After the ride went straight into the run. 30 seconds of brisk walking at the start then started running. Felt good at start then stated to slow at the end. My time at the turn around on the out and back was 12:27 so I really slowed down on the 2nd half of the course.

P90X Abdominal workout then the first 30 minutes of the Legs and Back routine. Legs and Back is so tough that I have to do the ab workout first because I'll be too tired to do it afterward.

P90X Plyometrics. I missed this on Tuesday so did the make up workout on Friday evening.

Pedal to work today. Today was our department outing at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Went to that, ate a lot, drank a lot, then rode home.

Swimming after getting home from work. This was supposed to be P90X Yoga night but the weather is too nice to be inside. Need to take advantage of the pool membership.

Bike to work today. I got lucky and missed the rain both ways. Headwind on the way home was no fun, though.

P90X Chest and Back workout. I almost quit after the first round of this but stuck with it and finished the workout.

P90X 16:00 [4]

P90X Abdominal workout. This is a little easier if you don't do it right after the resistance workout. This was good warm-up for interval runs I did afterwards.

Running 21:00 [5] 2.2 mi (9:33 / mi)

Interval training. 3 minute warm-up run, then 12 intervals of 30 second sprint/60 second walk. This was a little easier then I remember intervals to be.
