P90X Stretch workout. 2 weeks down and 11 to go!

Cycling 1:24:19 [4] 25.8 mi (3:16 / mi)

It was a great day for a road ride. I really picked up the pace with about 10 miles to go and was able to get the average speed to 18.4.

Interval running. 12 intervals of 30 second sprint/1 minute walk after a 2 minute warm-up run.

P90X 59:00 [4]

P90X Kenpo-X. This is a great workout but not as grueling as Plyometrics or the weight training workouts. Even Yoga is tougher. I can make this hard by developing better punching and kicking technique then going faster and higher.

Another intense day of P90X workouts. Today was Legs and Back followed by Ab-Ripper X. Whew!

Bike to work. I stopped by Race Pace on the way home to pick up new brake pads.

Running 45:00 [4] 5.25 mi (8:34 / mi)

Afternoon run with Andrew. It was very humid so we turned around before reaching our goal of running around Wilde Lake.

P90X 1:32:30 [4]

P90X Yoga-X. This is very tough yoga workout and really works the core. My legs were screaming during some of the positions that we had to hold. Also, the abdominal section is a killer.

P90X Arms and Shoulders. I need some new dumbbells because 20 lbs is too much for some exercises and 8 lbs is too light.

After one day off from commuting to work by bike it was back on the bike to pedal to work.

P90X Plymometric-X. This was slightly easier than last week and I was able to pick up the pace and jump a little higher this week. I was using Amino Vital Performance drink full strength for this and should probably dilute this for next time.

Monday Jun 29, 2009 #

P90X Back and Chest workout. I don't feel like there was a lot of improvement over last Monday when I did this workout but it will take probably at least a month before I can really keep up with the crew on reps. There were a few exercises where I felt better than last week. Finish up with Ab workout which is extremely extreme! Day off from work today so no commuting by bike today.
